This is our go-to Black Sheep spot! We always go to this location because we've never had a bad experience with them. We love the burgers, the fries and their strawberry lemonade is our family's favorite drink there! As a business owner, I can tell that their GM is doing the job right. Absolutely DELICIOUS! Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome (despite the late hour) and made fantastic recommendations. Everything we had was top notch. We're not from the area so it's been difficult to pass through when they are open, but we managed to make it this last time and it was worth the while! Their craft burgers are juicy, flavorful and feature in very appealing flavor combinations. Everything on the menu looks good! We tried; 'ugly cheese burgers', 'lost my mind' and 'light my fire'. All were meat-heavy, wonderfully seasoned, and juicy. I would recommend everything we tried! We will be telling our friends and family!
These burgers are among the best I've ever had. So rich in flavor and juicy. The fries were fresh and tasty and went well with the garlic dip. We also had to try the Elvis shake, knowing we wouldn't be back this way for quite a while. It was absolutely loaded with banana slices and mixed so well with the peanut butter and fudge. The service was outstandingly friendly. When I get back to Springfield, I'm definitely stopping by again!
Within the last few years I've been paying more attention to the experiences I have at fast food restaurant locations whenever I eat out. For the most part, the experiences are always lacking in just about every area. The people aren't happy to be there, the food rarely seems to be prepared correctly, and the experience just isn't great. It was a breath of fresh air to walk into a restaurant, be greeted happily with a smile and treated thoughtfully as a customer. Black Sheep is doing it right at this location.
I'm back after a looong hiatus. -Delivering only the cold, hard truth warmed to body temperature when softness is warranted. Enjoy! Begin review: We've been here many times, and it is so consistent that every burger I eat reminds me of every other time I've had a burger here. The friendly and helpful staff doing the work also fit into this category. Consistent! 1 Getting to the point... If you are reading this, hoping to find a reason to try it, you won't be disappointed. Burgers: all here are excellent in my book. And the fries are good. If you wondered what the difference is, A.S.A.P. is a limited menu vs. the regular Black Sheep. If you drink beer...enjoy!
